So. Tiring la. Photos first talk later.
Okais. This is officially the first budget airline we travelled by in Europe - WizzAir! Hahas, it is a Hungarian airline and we were so glad when we were able to get discounted flights because even though there are many budget airlines in Europe, most of them do not fly to Warsaw. (Wonders why?) Anyway, true to its logo, even the plane was pink haha!
Oh ya, and the flight stewards were humorous people.
Saw this very monument-looking wall in the Budapest Ferihegy 1 Airport. Twin thought it would be nice to trick our friends into believing that this was indeed one of the sights in Hungary. =) Oh by the way if you are flying here, it is not difficult to go from here to the city centre. Just take a bus to the last metro station on the blue line - Konbany (I think) Kispest and take the metro up to anywhere you want to go. The whole Budapest is pretty much well connected by the metro.
At Konbany Kispest. Where big pizza slices sell at 200 forints (about S$2) outside the metro.
Outside Keleti metro station. Well being Singaporeans we need to be well prepared in face of crises! Laughs. No la, cos we don't really know how the trains work here so we had to go find out and we figured it would be good to get it out of the way before we proceed to erm have fun with no worries? Oh, Keleti is where the international train station is! where many many many many trains leave Hungary.
Twin thought that this was pretty amusing. Well it is so! If you do look at the statue that twin is posing in front of, you will find an amusing sight! And the cutest thing is, this happens, well I don't know why though, to most of the statues we see in Budapest. haha!
Talk about the metro - this is one of the stations look like. Yeps but not all look like this la, cos there are many different metro lines (should be about 4) and these different metro lines also seem to have different themes. Erm, there are prettier metro stations.
Dinner was at this place - that according to Lonely Planet will be cheaper cuz it says:
Right. GRILL BAR. hahaha Much to our relief, the owner speaks - English. hahaha So we could quit our finger pointing and weird babbling and order dinner. hahaha I think our F&B budget is smaller though we had snacks throughout cuz twin n I can be easily satisfied w juz 1 serving betw 2 of us. It is really quite a lot of food. hahaha
As you can see, the previous photo was bright and the latter is dark. Because
1. Erm. Got lost looking for the hostel
This is forgivable I tell you. Because the hostel is inside some building without a sign. How do you find places without signs on buildings?! Anyway, we are already very smart to be able to find our hostel without signboards. Lala!
2. The days here are shorter - by 5 pm they sky starts to darken

Okay. this is the great big market that is opposite our hostel (not really directly opposite la but still relatively near) where they have this big big supermarket called Match (important place to stock up on provisions) and where they have a market (like wet market in Singapore but inside not wet at all wor) where they sell preserves, pastries and ALOT of bread, vegetables (I tell you the vegetables and fruits are humongous) and also, ALOT of meat. Actually when we took a photo of this, we had absolutely no idea what it was. Laughs.
And so with this, we went back to the hostel for a good night's slp.
