The Remains of the First Day in Poland

Gosh. It is indeed tiring to try to recap all the things that have happened during the past 9 days cos there's so much to remember and really, I don't really have a good memory. Laughs.

So continuing from where twin left off, we did reach Poland and was welcomed by a student and her bf from LKA. Coolness, who very kindly gave us more information on Poland and even paid for the cab fare to our TPH! So nice of them hor! And we were so pleasantly surprised by the gentlemenly manners of the bf who actually tried his best to take all our luggage!

Anyway, we then spent quite some time in the new house, where the kindly old couple who owns the flat went everywhere around the house and explained to the littlest most minute details of what is used for what and placed where and gasp! what to do when the electricity trips (haha of cos we hope it wun happen, the position of the switches is really elusive i tell you especially when it is hidden behind a white wooden box high up near the ceiling). And our poor buddy, the student who picked us up, had to translate everything the old couple said (in Polish to English) and haha, we could see how tiring it was for her. So thank you Ewa!

Erm. Well, later was just small things like finding the CitiBank branch here. CitiBank is really erm, big? here in Poland; not that I really know but then, I have already seen 2 CitiBank branches here just near our apartment so I guess it does say something about how global CitiBank is? But I digress. Laughs. Erm we basically spent the remains of the day trying to fix up the router (current status: still unfixable - we are waiting for our landlady's granddaughter's bf to come; he is said to be good with technology) and preparing for our flight to Budapest the next day! Gosh, haha first trip and the many unknowns. =)

So thats it cos there are no photos to show for this. Laughs. I am the boring words blogger.

=)
